Contributions – Service Delivery
Your help allows us to cover the travel, running costs and administrative expenses to outreach, teach, train and minister to groups of people all over the Newcastle and surrounding areas (and other parts of South Africa as God leads us) who desire to be empowered, learn and grow in helping to heal the physical, emotional and spiritual wounds and other needs of those in local communities. It also allows us to continue to assist those who - because of their issues - must be helped free of charge. We do this so that as few as possible will be turned away.

SPREADING THE GOSPEL
The Gospel is free to all, but taking it to the communities is very expensive. Support Raphah Ministries to take the life-saving and miracle-working power of Jesus Christ to lost and hurting souls around the Newcastle area/s (and if God willing the rest of South Africa). TEACHING
In order that the teaching of a diversity of courses (Pig & chicken farming, vegetable gardens, pastoral training, community courses), can be made available to as many people as possible, the charges for courses and schools are considerably lower than the real costs or available at any other resource or service provider. We rely on donations as income to ‘balance the books’ for running costs, material, administrative expenses etc., and to enable us to provide as many courses as possible for free to those less fortunate.
IMPACTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES
Raphah Ministries continues to reach out to a vast amount of people (young and old) annually through housing, food, clothing, toys, educational materials, blankets, bread, soup kitchens and whatever is needed that we can stand in the gap. (Raphah Ministries has reached more than 500 000 people over the last 10 year period.) Impacting the next generation for Jesus begins with these communities. You can assist us to give them the promise of hope for a future. Every seed that you plant in our Ministry and/or in this initiative helps us to reach countless souls who desperately need help, empowerment and most of all know God’s saving and nurturing love through our actions.
Outreach programme includes: food, blankets, bread, toys, soup kitchen, community gardens, etc.

When you become a partner (financially, service provider, product sponsor etc) with Raphah Ministries, you become a partner with all that God is doing in and through this Ministry. The blessings that are on this Ministry overflow and become a blessing in your life, business and/or ministry.
MISSIONARIES – GLOBAL OUTREACH
Your partnership in Raphah Ministries as a whole is not only a gift to this ministry, but 10% of what is given to Raphah Ministries (as a Ministry) is gifted again to other churches/Ministries that have missionaries around the world! You are making global outreach possible. You are helping to meet the needs of those who live as full time missionaries in other countries. Do you wish to contribute your tithe to this project?
RAPHAH MINISTRIES – HOMELAND MISSIONARY PROJECT FUND
The major ministry under Raphah Ministries’ umbrella is to be missionaries in the Newcastle and surrounding areas. Serving only in our local communities and/or in South Africa, such missionary services is called domestic and local/homeland missionaries. Reaching and restoring the unsaved, unloved and uncared for. This fund will enable us to have our own volunteers/missionaries working with us in the field to cover expenses related to their service, accommodation, travelling, medical care etc.
RAPHAH MINISTRIES – SCHOOL OF MINISTRY
The School of Ministry is a course series covering important keys that will equip you to help others whilst encouraging personal growth and healing in your own life. The courses are also set up in such a way that it will equip those who wish to become a pastor. It is presented at the Raphah Ministries premises. Contributions and support for this school will assist those who have no or limited funds to pay the monthly fee and/or any other expenses (such as literature, administrative expenses etc.)
RAPHAH MINISTRIES – JOURNEY OF FAITH COTTAGE/RETREAT
Healing/Prayer cottage/retreat.
- Funding needed to set up cottage
- Funding needed to cover running costs
- Funding needed to enable those less fortunate to use facility free of charge
SPONSOR A MEAL (Project #Meals)
To feed one person, in our (Protective) Haven, for one day costs approximately R100-00 per day. This cover minimum expenses for the food and food items for 3x well-balanced meals (as well as electricity, water, detergents, etc., to provide the meals.)
RAPHAH MINISTRIES – FREE COUNSELLING/INNER HEALING SERVICES ETC.
Even though Raphah does not ask any fee for pastoral counselling, inner healing sessions, deliverance, prayer etc., there are still running costs and other expenses to cover. We need to “balance the books” at the end of the day and any contribution towards this service will be of great help. This will also make it possible for us to employ staff in this field to assist us with administrative and other tasks in the near future and/or if funds are available.
Wages - Office & Team
Raphah Ministries has a great need for office workers and other team members (such as a Social Worker, cleaners, gardeners, Housemother, Cook, driver etc) to share the workload evenly and to address much needed services on a more permanent basis. With the poor economy it is understandable that less people will become volunteers and need an income to put food on the table for their families – even if it is their heart to do voluntary work/missionary work/free lance. Paying someone a salary also contributes to a more longstanding relationship and service delivery to the Ministry and taking pride in their contribution towards their work and achievements within the team. Any contribution towards salaries for our staff would mean that we can employ people on a long-term basis and securing a future for them as well.
