Food items
Meals for the residents of our care facility (Raphah Haven) as well as volunteers, crew, management, visitors etc., is always a great need. We also provide food/meals to people in need on request beyond the boarders of our facility if we have extra stock to do so.
Furniture & Household items (New/used)
For in-house needs, admin/offices/church/conferencing as well as to assist people who are in need of these items beyond the boarders of our facility as an outreach initiative. Applications for such needs are carefully considered to prevent miss-use of this service.
Gardening items
Any garden related items is always helpful. Especially items such as lawnmowers, brush cutters & weed-eaters. Any seeds, seedlings, compost, tools, shade netting, irrigation systems, plants, grass and many more are needed to make Raphah’s gardens an oases to find peace and rest for your soul.
Building material & maintenance items
Any good and useful items for the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and premises is always a great need.
Pallets & good quality wood
Both wood and plastic pallets and/or any good quality wood/timber/poles etc.
Trailers
For various needs. Both small and large. Especially needed for outreach initiatives.
Fuel
A sponsor (or more than one sponsor) for fuel is needed, especially with the outreach initiatives, which mostly is within a 100km radius, but is fast expanding to other regions as well. Businesses or garages that supply fuel can benefit from this donation as their logo can be placed on our vehicle/s if they are a sponsor for 12 months or longer.
Vehicles
A strong bakkie is needed to pull a large trailer and be able to travel in especially rural areas when doing outreaches, as well as to do farm-related work in the Ministry and on-site. Vehicles to transport crew, volunteers, Haven residents etc., with outreach initiatives or outings. Demo vehicles might be an option to consider. Sponsored vehicles can have the sponsor’s information placed on it to advertise their business. Smaller fleet vehicles for day tot day chores and other minor needs, will be beneficial to the Ministry as well.
Services & products
Sponsorships of products (cell phones, office equipment, email, internet/wi-fi, stationery, groceries etc), and/or free services such as medical related services, communication / legal / security / plumbing / electrical / automotive / maintenance / carpentry services etc.
Wood / steelwork machinery, tools & equipment
Needed for maintenance purposes, projects, training programmes, for crafts/products and other items to generate an income.
Fencing & gates
Fencing is needed for a vast area, to repair/replace the current fence around the main area/centre, to erect new fencing in other areas for security purposes, farming purposes, etc., as well as gates of various sizes to enter the fenced-off areas.
Lighting
In-house for interior and exterior domestic use, for security externally, in the gardens, at the main entrance of the main facility, walkways, bathrooms, etc.
Security alarms and/or surveillance
For domestic use in storage areas, office/admin areas, on-site cottages/houses, fencing/parameter areas.
Printing & Marketing
Brochures, pamphlets, business cards, printed stationery and printing/service methods to market the Ministry (printed gifts, clothing, caps, bags etc.).
Solar systems
To reduce the dependency on municipal services/electricity it would be beneficial to use solar energy where and when possible. Areas such as lighting in rooms/bathrooms/walkways can benefit from such a service and/or any light duty requirements. Long term it would be ideal to have all needs covered with solar or other methods of energy supplying/creating systems/methods installed to be totally independent from municipal services or in any emergency situation.
Assistive domestic machinery
(For in-house use) New or gently used items – such as washing machines, tumble dryers, stoves, fridges, deep freezers, dishwashing machines, vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, etc.

Needs is a growing entity – especially in the welfare, charity and missionary fields.
